Mama says OM - Unusual

Always making a fashion statement and often creates some random performance art at most every event she attends, daughter #2 dreams up (and creates herself) this most UNUSUAL costume for Halloween. I have been the maker of many odd costumes over the years. Daughter #1 at age 8 tells me "I want to be what I was in my dream last night" Luckily we found the red rubber boots, the helmet and cape for her version of a bizzare (what is normal?) superhero type. But the "I want to be a plate of cheese with the table and baugette" well, it won the prize for unusual in my book and came complete with parsley garnish. That is great in my book as creative thinking can take you places! -- note even the pumpkins got unusual this past year, they were not feeling well... Go see momma says OM ... It is a lovely site!

the word for the day is not needed as a picture is worth a thousand words...

This was wonderful! I am continually amazed at the uninhibited, creative wanderings of children. We all should really pay attention (like you obviously already do). Great post...

Your daughter is INCREDIBLY creative...I hope that lasts her for the rest of her life! :) I wish I had thought of something like this when I was her age...or even now! Definitely unusual.
