Felicity a new sketch from my inkwell

A new series of ink sketches on vintage German songbook pages. The lovely pages were given to me by dear angie of omondieu! this summer in Germany. They are all available at my etsy shop now. I have more on the drawing board to go up in the artstream shop too in a couple of days.

Such a lovely idea. The ink on music/song book paper is really unique, a very cool idea!

Hey, it was a treat to see these "in person' yesterday and I can without a doubt, they are lovely. The vintage paper and ink drawings are a really nice combo.......

o susan.. I love this! I love her slightly snooty expression. Love the shoes! Love the umbrella. It's all so swashy and fabulous. And you must stop pushing the Etsy shops, cuz I'm either gonna go broke (especially with the Canadian dollar at like 76 cents vs. The American dollar) or mad with wanton desire! :D

Some how the song "singing in the rain" came in to my head when I saw this. :*)

oh susan!!! these are wonderful... absolutely beautifully playfully wonderful!

i have to agree, this one made me want to think mary poppins or my fair lady... but as i wen thru the shop, i fould my favourite... and i need this one on my walls. but i have a huge favour to ask of you before i buy it...

the one i want is page "vier und sechsig"... and its not just the birds and the wheat, but it's the words. they just feel right, appropriate... how does it continue. do you have a page fünf und sechsig as well. because i have a feeling, these want to be together. the birds and the story that continues...

framed. and on my walls.

oh susan. you made me smile.

loves,

ange.
