Thank you

Thanks to all who have written, called and came by yesterday and today. All is well after yesterday's ordeal.
Today we even did a little holiday window dressing to offest the media oppression (and endless phone calls) which has taken over our little city. ... Thank you for your concern -it's so good to know that people are thinking of you. We are hiding out this afternoon, but will be open again on Monday. Happy weekend!

holy hell-- I had no idea. If that doesn't tell you how completely out of touch I am with current events . ..

Susan! I was so glad to hear that everything turned out peacefully yesterday. Sean and I were looking at the photos on cnn last night and sean said he thought that the photos showed a corner of artstream, but we weren't sure...Regardless, it was too close to home, and I am just really glad to hear that everything was resolved peacefully.

Have a great (uneventful) rest of the weekend...

indeed anna, sean was right, that was us. it was so strange to see our gallery on German TV on the internet. The media really made it crazy...

cnn was still bugging us today for "a story" eesh. there was no story.

cripes! i had no idea, so glad it ended with no-one hurt. i bet it has fairly shaken the local community. that kind of thing really makes you aware of who and what matters. i'm so glad you are safe.

your window display is so pure and beautiful.

thanks, as always, for your lovely words about my work. xxx

Yikes. I heard something about it but didn't know where it was. Too close to home for you! I guess you'll be hugging your loved ones tonight. A hug for you, too.

The window looks so pretty. Funny how I had to come see it online. I never got close enough on Friday to see it! But I am not easily put off and will try again soon. Just glad everyone is okay. Susan, I just want to add that I love your little birds, the ones you do in watercolor. They are so cute. ;)

I had no idea that happened in your little town, Susan. I hope his family is ok and that he gets help. And that the media will focus their cameras on something else soon.

Your window looks terrific, btw! :)

Wow thanks for the link on the Bombing / Kidnapping incident. I had not heard anything about it - I mean about this part of it.

WOW

Things are not going to go well for him are they ?
It is all so sad. And many others hurting the same.

The continued cycle of dehumanization breeds rash behavior. It is killing me to see it ... what will happen to people ? We are all we've really got...what is so hard to make out about that.

And PEOPLE ! Please See "SICKO" - Michael Moore's healthcare docu !!!

This must have really rattled your cage. But the worst ? The media ... Poor You.

I hope everyone begins to heal. Your beautiful window will certainly add to that.

Huge Hug. Love, S

oh man Susan....I have been totally out of touch with the real world for the past week.

Glad you are all well, and I hope this mans gets the help he needs. We have been dealing with a similar thing that did not go as well...mental health and the lack of help, or maybe more not taking personal steps to help themselves. I don't know, emotions running amuck...

Nice to come over and see some lovely things...
