Through the woods

We made it through ooo oooo. Wait, no not Madonna, not to grandmothers house, but Through the woods. Like Frost. As in a nature walk. As in a place to go and find a quiet moment to contemplate. Artist Judith Heller Cassell and Danna Ray have created a body of work which will make you take pause. Do so with us this Saturday from 5-7 p.m. during our opening for this show. It will all be online this Friday prior to the opening in our online shop or pop in for a preview peek!

Seen and Unseen

A new show went up last night here at the gallery. Three locally talented women - Amber Lavalley (our wonderful wonderful intern), Judith Heller Cassell, and Mary Bullock - plus our good buddy sculptor -Adam Pearson. We are thrilled to house such local talent and proud of the mix so stop by tonight if you are in our little city from nibbles and sips from 5-7 p.m. The show will also feature for the month eleven new monotypes by Edibeth Farrington. They are holding the Lovely Hearts place for February!

About last night

a couple four photos of last night's show, at the Franklin Pierce Law School in Concord. It was fun, well attended and made me want to get going on some drypoints and gelatin prints. There was some beautiful work to see and the building itself was an architectural dream. The best part is that Parker said that the law students really stop and look and enjoy the art each day that the show is up. Makes me feel good inside to know that. Parker and Judith did an amazing job hanging the show. And somehow Judith took the time to hand carve a 4 x 5 foot woodcut for the show too. What can one say except ... wow. It is beautiful.
