Happy New Year!

glenn szegedy "koi" alabaster - approx. 6 inches in diameter
There was SO much at artstream for us to be thankful for and much of it came through the blogsphere to us here in New Hampshire. The past week allowed us to reflect on our past year and make plans for what is in store for us in the coming year. There were so many friendships which blossomed this past year through this blog (just look at that sidebar), kind words spoken (thank you to everyone who gave us lovely shout outs), wonderful collaborations for exhibitions last year and exciting new work to come this year. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
January brings many fun new things to look forward to as well... you just know that design*sponge is going to have a wonderful new shop opening soon, but did you know that artstream has a new exhibition going up this week which is all about sculpture ?(I will be posting photos in my flickr account as we get them), lovely hearts has been very very warmly received (we are so excited to see what everyone comes up with! and we will be posting those..) and of course, we have a few surprises we are just bursting with too! Oh, and don't forget the Kim Family Auction, yet another very good cause organized by some wonderful people.
The photo above is one of the many incredible works which we will be unveiling this weekend of our "Three Dimensions" exhibition.
The word for the day is ... discover ... as in explore, see in a new way, or uncover something which was right there before your eyes!

Susan -- it's been a delight meeting and getting to know you this year. Your energy and enthusiasm for art and life are infectious and inspiring! All good things to you in 2007.

PS I was wondering how I'd remember to submit something to Lovely Hearts then read further and -- of course! I'll just paste the code to my sidebar.

Thank you for replying to my post at artistsprogress.blogspot.com I will seriously think about emailing you a submission for your hearts exhibition. I noticed the money was gong to Breast Cancer Research which is a charity close to my heart at the moment, as I have a close family memeber undergoing chemotherapy for inflamatory breast cancer. I`ll work on some pieces this week.
Kind Regards,
Sue - from Hampshire UK!
