Most people in our area now have power restored, but it's been a really long haul and well, this little sketch shows on the outside, how many people have felt on the inside.
But stiff upper lip here in New England! No pouting!

I'm glad that your power has been restored, Susan. I hope you're warming up! This illustration is lovely. It looks like it comes from a vintage children's book. And not speaking the language, I wonder if her sad expression reflects the sound of the music?
My mum and dad just got their power back yesterday - thank goodness! I was truly starting to worry if their pipes were going to burst I'm glad that your safe and warm! Cheers!
