We took a walk in the woods on Sunday. It was so sunny and quiet. We found a huge shag bark hickory tree and these fallern chestnuts and a seed pod. Reminded me of walking around the woods as a child and finding chestnuts. That was enough to make it a perfect day.

Such beautiful things! It makes me feel calm to look at them as you've arranged them.
I like to pick these up during walks, too. Whenever I see an open nut like the one on the bottom right corner, I think of a pig's snout. :)
