Pale :: Illustration Friday

Due to the frigid temps here this morning in NH (why again is it that we live here? please, remind me!?) pale is the color of everything and everyone around today. -15F is seriously cold! Pale is the IF prompt too, so I am playing along with this little ink drawing called Timmy. I often see dog owners out in this weather and just shiver! The cold cold cold has made my colors fade to black and white ... which describes the mood of the characters - pale, cold and stark, I think.
Happy weekend all - and stay warm!

Burr! Can I move in with you? LOL It was -27 here in Iowa this morning. I am glad to stay inside today after being outside taking care of the livestock and carefully using some heat to unfreeze the pipes. I feel pale today and don't much feel like creating art at all today as I would rather get under the blankets and hide all day. I like the pale piece you made.

That pup needs a coat. Wonderful use of black/white - like the contrast of the asian background

Here in Toronto, where the snow never seems to let up this year, I can sympathize.
A bit of Bonnard in your piece. Nice.

Very clever and such expressive lines. I love the drawing over text. It adds texture. But hey, that dog is priceless.
