Smoke

Here is a sketch I worked on over the weekend for a new series of paintings.
It involves a campfire and where there's a campfire there is smoke. Which leads me to IF again... Clear through the fog and see the smoke at Penelope's fabulous Illustration Friday.

This is so evocative! I love the use of blue tones and also the way the cat is reaching out towards the warmth. Very nice! Its just really pleasing to the eye...
