Portrait

susan squared digital self portrait photoshopped size is uninportant here... but click if you wanna see it larger

Sometimes it is fun to play with photoshop. Builds skills. Makes for fun portraits for Illustration Friday and Self Portrait Challenge! Pop Art and all that jazz! Rainer and I love to use Photoshop as a verb and say "photoshopped" or "photoshopping" Please don't roll over in your grammer grave ...
Do you want something more painterly? I posted another self portrait last week over here, along with the original photo used for the Warholness above.

Go see more portraits at Illustration Friday. More beautiful POP Art at Self Portrait Challenge. And, have a beautiful weekend, will you please?

The word for the day is ... transform ... as a tool, your mind after hearing another's opinion, and your dreams by making them come true!

hey i just 'googled' the verb 'photoshopped' and got over 2 million hits - guess that makes it a somewhat common 'wherb' ...

I use the verb to photoshop often to demonstrate how much more versatile the English language is to German. Photoshopping photos is great fun! And hey, I am a Gemini, too ;)

dearest (german husband) aka anonymous...
you always go with websters over popular googling... tee hee.
cristosova - ja ja, but! i hear that many like to nounize (oh goodness) german words a lot?!

I use photoshop as a verb, too. It gets better, though. I use it in a more general sense: "He photoshopped events in order to impress his girlfriend." I love language!

Photoshop; photshopped; photoshopping: fun word. I am learning to photoshop since Rainer put mambo up for us. Now I want to quadruple images!!

And thanks for your nice words about Glitz Glam & Gigawatt. Much appreciated; I had a lot angst over this piece~my first beaded quilt.

It happened so that I commented on your other portrait…but I enjoy this variation very much. I have to say – I missed few days and now there are treats all over your blog, to look at, too enjoy and even shop!

Not everything has to be painted and I love playing in photoshop. Sweet effects you have here. I took a peak at your painted self portrait and it is awesome.

Ah...I love how organic language is! I am not rolling over in my grammar grave at all...we're grammar transgressors at home as well. Anywho...I do love this photoshopped portrait...the colors make me think of summer and swimming and sea glass and all those wonderful things, and the effects you used enhance that watery look. I also really like the oil self portrait you did...you have so much fine stuff here!
