From my home studio window...

Snow on Sculpture
Here is what happened last night whilst we were asleep...
Adam Pearson
"The Traveler"
Steel found object sculpture
my backyard garden
snow optional... (click the photo for an enlarged view)
sigh!
(you do see the blue skies which Corey sent me from Provence however - dont' you?)
The word for the day is ... snarl ... as in snow on April gardening plans, a knot in your hair and traffic in urban places.

oh my god. susan.

that is serious, more than serious snow. i'm looking out the window and simply seeing bare trees and the rinse of the rain. snow from yesterday however very much disappeared.

but yes, i do see that blue sky. corey sent me some as well today. and again, when i write those words, there's the small little sun ray trying to find it's way thru the window.

tell the april monster to go away!

snarl at him.

Oh no so much snow in April! Poor Susan! Okay I'm not complaining anymore about our cold weather as long as we wont get snow again this spring!

I feel guilty as we are halfway through spring here and I wore flip-flops and painted my toesnails yesterday. :) But it sure is pretty...

Oh Susan, with a word like 'Snarl' I hope you are not fighting the snow. It looks angelic, but I know how inconvenient it can be to daily life... Your package went in the mail yesterday, hopefully will be to you by end of week. Lovely sculpture, a bit moon-like in feel.
Take care, and keep warm.

Hi, I came across your blog and just read the whole page! What a beautiful space you have, it's so inspiring to see the pics of people engaged with all things art. Your work is very fresh and full of life, lovely. Thanks for sharing so much creativity. I'm going to add you to my list and will stop by again soon!

I think it snowed just so it could show off an april garden and a different view! There are blue skies here...but trust me to see this view would make me smile and laugh and rejoice at nature's humor!

Wow, I really feel for you. It's full on spring here, too. But that's going to be one pretty view once the snow melts and your garden grows!

if something had to interfere with your gardening plans, at least it's something beautiful?!?

Great picture, we had very little snow in Chicago this year and it looks quite refreshing from my view which is dreary and cloudy.
